The Research Manager will act as the key liaison between
vertical business units and research department to help Compete improve
upon its existing market research offerings. Primary
responsibilities include the design and development of primary research
products across a variety of industries with particular focus on
questionnaire writing.
- Minimum of 2-4 years market research experience
- Quantitative ability and knowledge of statistics, sampling procedures, and weighting
- Experience in study design and management
- Ability to efficiently and effectively address client's primary business issues within the confines of a well-written, concise questionnaire
- Ability to deliver quality results in deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Ability to serve as market research expert in direct communication with clients
- Ability to set priorities and make recommendations on how
to deliver under tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines
- Ability to conceive and develop advanced analyses combining attitudinal and behavioral inputs
- Must work independently and lead a team of consultants, clients and analysts to reach desired results
- Proficiency with SPSS, Excel
- Working knowledge of WinCross preferred
- Excellent communications skills
- Familiarity with online analytics helpful but not required
- Bachelors degree required, preferable in marketing,
marketing research, mathematics, or statistics (post-graduate degree a
plus)
