At compete.com our goal is to use our tools and platform to educate each of our customers and help them move to their own next level of competence in online marketing.
The Customer Relations Lead will be the founding member of a new team devoted exclusively to supporting compete.com customers and achieving those goals. You will interact daily with our subscribers and become an expert on the challenges they face and the solutions we can provide. With this expertise you will not only help the customers who have contacted us but also set up systems and create materials to extend that help to every subscriber.
On any given day you might be training new users via web conference, writing new help sections on the site, helping people with account access, or even creating walkthrough videos for our tools. As the first member of this new team you will have the opportunity to determine for yourself where to focus your efforts to have the most impact. The two things that will tie together all your activities are the drive to help the people we serve and the need to scale that help to reach our entire user base.
Compete.com serves online marketers, but you do not have to be an online marketer to fill this role. However, you do have to be on fire with enthusiasm for learning this new space and eager to take on the challenge of doing so. You will be working with a highly knowledgeable team that is eager to share our experience in order to bring you up to speed quickly.

- Ability to create and then adhere to processes and procedures
- B.A. or higher
- 2-5 years of experience in a customer relations, customer service, or client services role OR 2-5 years of experience in an online marketing role
