We are seeking a quality assurance professional with some solid QA chops who likes to live and breathe Agile. Here’s a little bit about us: Compete, Inc. is an intelligent market research company and Compete.com, its crown jewel web application currently gets over 1M unique visitors per month and is growing by leaps and bounds. Our QA team, which we'd like you to be a part of, consists of a handful of stellar (and fun!) engineers, and we are looking to add someone ready to play a critical role in testing and expanding Compete.com's products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Writing, maintaining and executing manual test cases. Isn’t that exciting?!
- Testing really cool web-based applications
- Performing regression testing
- Logging detailed bug reports
and working directly with our web development team to
troubleshoot bugs.
What we’d like you to have:
- Minimum 2 years of QA experience testing web-based applications will get you in the door.
- Experience in cross-browser testing on both Windows and Mac.
- You know how to test API’s? We like that!
- Knowledge of Unix & SQL a plus
- Experience in an Agile environment will help you hit the ground running.
- A strong attention to detail and solid communication skills will help!
